Energy and Sustainability

Energy management systems (EMSs) are used to improve energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. Smart meters are used to record electricity consumption and send reports to utility providers. Household EMSs (HEMSs) are implemented through all homes because they encourage users to save power and spend less by helping them monitor their electricity consumption.

Feedback technologies like in-house energy displays encourage smart energy practices.
